EXTERIOR FACADE COMPACT LAMINAT

The exterior facade compact laminate is decorative flat panels, which is obtained by pressing the thermo set resin kraft and decor papers, which are prepared according to EN 438, under high pressure and temperature and which are resistant to exterior environmental conditions. The boards, which are also called as ASD Outsiding, are resistant to external effects like sun light, wind, snow and rain and which do not get effected for many years. The ASD Outsiding is very resistant to the sun light and the uv lights due to its special protective layer on its surface. The colour fastness of the ASD Outside products is 4 -5 according to the grey scale. The Outside products have high impact resistance. The surface can be cleaned with organic chemicals (detergents) when there is excessive amount of contamination. This way of cleaning does not damage the surface colour.

The external facade compact laminate, which is known with its excellent technical characteristics, is the greatest alternative to all of the traditional external facade covering materials.

The external facade compact laminate has the composition which protects the building from the external conditions more when compared to other alternatives.

The external facade compact laminate is resistant to the sun light, the atmospheric conditions, the salt and the wind. None of these elements does not harm the decorative surface or the composition of the compact laminate for very long time duration.

The exhaust or the chimney gasses or the acid rain do not have any noticing effect on the ASD Outside surface. It does not have any permanent effect on the surface of the decor.

The changes in the temperature and in the relative humidity do not have any changing effect in the characteristics of the compact laminate. The external facade compact laminate is not effected from thermal shocks. The thermal shocks do not harm the physical and the mechanical characteristics of the compact laminate. The characteristics of the panel do not change with the extreme changes in the temperature between -20 oC and +80oC and with the extreme changes in the dry relative humidity and the 90% relative humidity.

The dimensional stability of the external facade compact laminate can be effected little with the natural effects. It can reduce in width in low humidity and can enlarge in width in high humidity. For this reason, the panels should be conditioned in the application areas. If this is not possible and when there is the extreme hot and cold and dry and wet conditions in the location of the application, the application technique should be chosen accordingly and measurements should be carried out with certain intervals during the application.

ITS ENVIRONMENTAL CHARACTERISTICS

The external facade compact laminate does not contain any health hazardous material and it does not have any environment hazard characteristics. It contains 70% cellulose fibre and 30% thermo set resin. It does not contain asbestos and heavy metals. The external facade compact laminate does not create gas, smoke, solvents or liquid emissions when it is applied.

The discarded material, when its usable life ended are classified as the normal waste within the applicable laws and regulations. Its high calorific value makes it possible to be disposed of by burning it in the waste disposal facilities. When it is burned fully at 700 oC, water, carbon dioxide and nitrite oxide diffuses out. The external facade compact laminate is a material which finalises its useful life in the positive way.

CLEANING

The surface of the external facade compact laminate is not needed to be cleaned in any special way. The staining, which appears during cutting or application can be cleaned with non abrasive house hold detergants, soft papers or towels or with clothes. When it is cleaned wet, it is advised that it should be dried when possible. If it is needed to try an new kind of cleaning agent, it will appropriate to try it on a small area where it will not be seen for not to take any risk. The use of house hold detergents with soft cloth or towel will give good results for atmospheric staining. The dirt which became adhered or plastified should be softened in order not to scratch the surface.

For the stains, which are due to the chimney smoke or carbon black, on the surface of the panels no other cleaning material than the soap and water should be used if it is not needed. If there is need to use special cleaning agents, these should be in gel or spray form and they must not scratch the surface.

THE ASD GUARANTEE AND RESPONSIBILITY FOR EXTERNAL FACADE COMPACT LAMINATE

The ASD company issues guarantee against the mechanical characteristics and the colour fading of the external facade compact laminate.


GUARANTEE FOR COLOUR FADING: 10 YEARS

The ASD company gives 10 years of guarantee for the colour fading of the external facade compact laminate.

This guarantee is for definite colour fading. But there could be a slight colour shade difference at continuous extreme weather conditions.

The product is replaced with the new one with the definite approval of our quality assurance department for the colour fading.

The replacement cost for the renewing of the product is not under the responsibility of the ASD when it is decided to be replaced.

THE GUARANTEE FOR THE MECHANICAL CHARACTERISTIC OF THE EXTERNAL FACADE COMPACT LAMINATE: 20 YEARS

1. This guarantee is the performance guarantee of the external facade compact laminate. The product will not be covered under guarantee when unsuitable work has been carried out on the board.
2. the guarantee contains the repair and the replacement of the external facade panels. The board is under guarantee for period of 20 years.
3. The guarantee covers only the product. The labour cost is not covered.
4. The guarantee is only valid when the external facade compact laminate is assembled according to the technical information issued with the product.
